The Museum of St Albans is a local museum in the city of St Albans, Hertfordshire, England.[1]
The museum was founded as the Hertfordshire County Museum in 1898. The museum presents the history of St Albans from the end of the Romans onwards. The medieval gallery covers Saint Alban, who was the first Christian martyr in Britain, together with St Albans Abbey that was founded on the site where he was martyred. It also houses the Salaman Collection of trade and craft tools. Outside there is a small wildlife garden with a pond.
